President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met with six governors of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The governors that met with the president include Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Kashim Shettima (Borno), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Ibrahim Gaidam (Yobe) and Rochas Okorocha (Imo).
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State was represented by his deputy, Dr Idiat Oluranti Adebule, at the meeting which held behind closed doors and lasted several hours.
There was no official statement on the agenda of the meeting as the governors left the villa without fielding questions from State House correspondents.
