Members of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) yesterday added their voice to the call on President Goodluck Jonathan to declare for the 2015 presidential election.
To this end, the association said it would mobilise its members all over the country to march and call on the president to heed the calls from Nigerians and declare for a second term in office, claiming that no fewer than 16 million members of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) would be mobilised throughout the country to converge on Abuja for a one-day protest to compel President Jonathan to contest the 2015 Presidential election.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday in Abuja, the President of the association, Alhaji Musa Isiwele Shehu, disclosed that the planned road show would be organized in partnership with the Good Governance Vanguard.
Shehu noted that their decision to support President Jonathan was in line with the credible and verifiable landmark achievements he has recorded.
